Our office accepts all insurance plans. We are not considered a Preferred Provider for any plans, so some benefits will be reimbursed as out of network. Many times, there is not much of a difference, and many families are happy to find that they can indeed come to Just Kids Dental with their insurance. Our practice also accepts most major credit cards including HSA accounts and Care Credit. Our office staff is very familiar with insurance claims and are happy to help you with any paperwork. Common Insurance Questions

We accept all insurance plans, please contact our office to determine the benefits unique to your child.

Yes, we will file your insurance claims for you. Some plans will allow us to file electronically which makes it a very efficient process and a quick settlement of your account. We also file some claims by paper, as all insurance companies do not accept electronic claims.

No insurance plan has a guarantee of payment, and rarely do insurance plans cover 100% of all procedures. The coverage is usually 100% of what the insurance plan considers usual and customary, and not necessarily what our fees reflect. We will work diligently with you to help you know and understand your insurance plan so you can be better prepared to cover what insurance does not.

Some dental offices sign up to become preferred providers for a particular insurance plan, accepting reduced fees in exchange for increased patients.Our office has chosen not to become a part of those networks so that we can accept all patients into our care.Because we are not a preferred provider, some insurance plans choose to pay the subscriber (you) directly instead of the provider (us). In that situation, we ask that the subscriber pay us in full at the time of service, and be reimbursed by their insurance company. If you are required to go to a dentist in network, we still welcome you as patients, however, you most likely wont have insurance benefits in our office and would be responsible for paying us at the time of service.We are always willing to discuss and make payment arrangements if needed.

We keep information on each insurance plan and update them continuously as we receive claims. We will always give you an estimate for any treatment we recommend and will do a pre-estimate to your insurance plan to get a better idea of their coverage. Keep in mind that every claim is an estimate until we receive payment.

We will collect any patient portion on the day of the visit unless you have made payment arrangements in advance. And, with some insurance plans, if payment goes to the subscriber, we will collect payment in full on the day of the visit. You will then be reimbursed by your insurance.

We currently are not accepting new patients with Wisconsin Medicaid. Some exceptions may be possible, but this needs to be discussed prior to your visit.

We accept cash, checks, MC, VISA, Discover, American Express, and Care Credit. We can also offer you a monthly automatic payment arrangement from your debit or credit card.

CareCredit is a 3rd party financing option. If approved, you would pay us with your CareCredit account and make payments to CareCredit.CareCredit offers financing options that allow you to pay your balance up to 12 months without deferred interest. If paid in full within the 12 months, you will not have any billing or finance charges.
